This course covered theatre from roughly 1500 to 1800, placing an emphasis on dramaturgical research. Theatrical genres taught in the class ranged from Kabuki, the Spanish Golden Age, and the Elizabethan Restoration era of theatre. This class also included a Casebook assignment, in which we created a comprehensive dramaturgical overview of a play from the timeframe of the class. We then created an overview presentation of our production plan for our respective plays. The presentation included on this page is my final project of the 1626 play 'Tis Pity She's a Whore by John Ford.
