In Applied Voice Lessons, I have worked on increasing my comfort with my own voice. I have focused on technique and improving my vocal variety. Over the past three years, I worked on songs of different genres and ranges to build my vocal repertoire, including contemporary musical theatre, Golden Age selections, Carole King, Adele, Patsy Cline, and Joni Mitchell. In addition to this, I have improved my overall musical theory technique. An example from this course is a clip of a performance of "Easy to be Hard" from Hair and "All I Ask" by Adele.
