Beginning Acting

Jonathan Wilson, Spring 23

In Beginning Acting, we looked at the basics of building a character. We started by telling our own stories as monologues, familiarizing ourselves with the mechanics of storytelling. Eventually, we moved on to scenes where we displayed our learning of how to create a world within a scene. In this class, I performed a scene from the one-act play Laundry and Bourbon by James McLure, but unfortunately, no video of the performance exists.
