Theresa Ham, Spring 25

This practicum was my favorite of the series. I was able to learn how to work a sewing machine and serger, how to cut and work with varying fabrics, how to follow a pattern, different forms of hand stitching, and how to attach closures to a garment. This practicum has been the most useful when carried into my day-to-day life, as I now understand the fundamentals of making and mending clothing. As projects within this class, we made various samplers, an apron, a tote bag, and pajama pants.
