In this course, we focused on understanding how a theatre company is constructed and maintained. This class allowed us hands-on experience with designing our own companies, creating seasons, budgets, mission and vision statements, marketing materials, and donor letters. Through this, I was able to develop and hone my interests in Arts Administration and Management, allowing me to determine the fields I am most interested in doing professionally post-grad. I was able to decide my interest lies in the business and executive side of decision-making a and managing in a company or non-profit.
